Daniel Thomas Page

Daniel is a founding member of the PYDF and a Research Psychologist.
He has a Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Queensland. Daniel created the psychological skills programming offered by the PYDF. Daniel is an expert in Health Psychology, Positive Psychology, Action Research, and Disabilities.
Daniel is the director of Psyche Innovations – A digital mental health solutions company.

Wiehan (Willem Johannes) Basson

Wiehan is a founding member of the PYDF and is registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa as a student Registered Counselor.
He has completed his practicum hours in the field of Trauma Counselling, takes a keen interest in Clinical and Counselling Psychology, and draws from modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Narrative Therapy when working with clients.

Ruan George Parrott

Ruan is a founding member of the PYDF and CEO at Earth Science Africa, a climate change adaptation and mitigation consultancy.
He has a background in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, and Marine Sciences, with skills including data analysis, R and Python programming, remote sensing, and report/proposal writing.

K-Lee Jubber

K-Lee has been a dedicated member of the PYDF team since 2019.
K-Lee holds a BSc in Human Life Sciences, an Honours in Medical Physiology, and is currently pursuing an Honours in Psychology. Her areas of interest include psychology, nutrition, neuroscience, and a holistic approach to fostering positive change for individuals and groups.

Kelsey Andrews

Kelsey Andrews is an Advisory Director for the PYDF and associate medical writer.
She has a Masters degree in Genetics and a passion for creating awareness about important topics such as youth mental health. She is an advocate for change and empowerment of undeserved communities and has been a valuable part of the NPO since 2019.

Michael Luden

Michael is a second year Master’s student from Stellenbosch University with intentions to pursue a PhD in Psychology after graduation.
He is interested in Social Psychology and his research focuses primarily on intergroup relations and social change.

Shantelle Smith

Shantelle is the Full Stack Developer at the PYDF. She is a data scientist, co-founder of Earth Science Africa, and has a M.Sc. in Ocean and Atmospheric Science from the University of Cape Town.
She has a background in multiple disciplines, including Public Health, Atmospheric Chemistry, and Marine Sciences, with skills spanning machine learning, multiple programming languages, and report/proposal writing.
